Salary: Group 3, L16-L22 (£61,166 to £70,745)

The Governors of this happy, successful and popular Church of England Federation are seeking to appoint an experienced individual who will lead us on our continuing journey. Our Federation was formed in October 2014 and consists of Little Marlow CE Infant School and Holy Trinity CE Junior School – rated Good and Outstanding respectively. As Federation Headteacher, using your interpersonal skills and team building capabilities, you will lead both schools, supported by a full-time Head of School at Holy Trinity, a part-time Head of School at Little Marlow and the Governing Board, to build upon the consistently good outcomes and reputation of both schools. This role will give the right individual an exciting opportunity to shape the future of the Federation, whilst upholding its distinct Christian character, making a difference to the lives of many children.

The post for which you are applying is considered as exempt by virtue of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exemption) Order 1975. You will, therefore, be requested as part of the application process to disclose any convictions or information regarding criminal activity in respect of the applicant including convictions that would otherwise be considered ‘spent’.

The Federation of Holy Trinity and Little Marlow schools provides a safe and secure environment for pupils to learn. The schools and governors are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and young people and operates a strict Safeguarding Policy, with procedures being rigorously and consistently applied. The Headteacher will be required to demonstrate a commitment to promoting and safeguarding the welfare of children and young people in the schools and to become the Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) for the Federation.

The successful applicants will be requested to undertake an Enhanced Disclosure via the Disclosure and Barring Service including a barred list check and a check against section 128 which restricts a person from taking part in the management of academies and free schools.
